After uninstalling and re installing BDIS 2013, there is a significant improvement. My system freezes only intermittently and momentarily while updating or scanning.

Please Uninstall BDIS 2013 with BD 2013 Removal tool http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=35494 Then Please Install BDIS again. Hope It Solves Your Problem I have uninstalled and reinstalled BDIS 2013. I will evaluate and come back with an update.

I have the same problem with Build 16.29.0.1830. I am using Firefox 21.0 Window 7 Home Premium 64bit. I am usually using a wired connection to the internet. This is extremely irritating. I am stuck with this for 3 years, but I may cut my loses and get a different antivirus software. I also would like a solution to this…
