Problem solved. BD 2010 no longer considers external HDDs as USB storage devices. Hence no pop-ups.

Hi Tuhin! Do you have access to your external drives as well? (I mean to write or copy/paste) I guess you already tried to unplug/replug tthe external drive to make it appear in explorer? I am facing the same problem.I check this topic daily but no progress.In addition to this, I have a couple of more problems that I have posted.No response for those as well.I'm just hanging in there because BD has a good security reputation.Frustation increases......

By the way i forgot to mention my OS is Vista Home and I am using BitDefender 2009.please help
