This shouldn't be happening. Still bitdefender free antivirus hasn't been tested by many reviewers. so can't tell for sure what is the cause. but why there is no official reply from bitdefender. only we users are talking to each other.

If this problem is present for years and not removed then I quit using bitdefender from now on. I regret buying it. Money wasted.

Intrusion detection system is found in firewall settings. Keep Intrusion detection system setting in Permissive mode. See if this helps. If stuck in updating process then uninstall bitdefender completely. Restart. Then install it again.
