I have decided NOT to upgrade the the 2012 (possibly 2013 also) because it ELIMINATED the small File/Net window. While the antivirus and firewall stuff is important to me the File/Net ACTIVITY window is vital to me. Without it any upgrade to version that does not have it is useless.
