Quick Launch Bitdefender B Loses Up Carot
My windows 7 Home Premium PC has Bitdefender internet Security 2015 installed. Only one thing bugs me ... the Quick Launch block B has an up carat most of the time (^), I believe signifying AutoPilot, but this extra symbol at the base of the B will disappear and reappear. What is the symbols purpose?

What is the significance of the number located in the large Bitdefender icon at the bottom right of my desktop? Searches have produced nothing. I am using the updated Internet Security 2015 on a Windows 7 OS. Thanks
