Wie kann ich das Bitdefender VPN deaktivieren?

Ich wollte über das Programm AMAZON PRIME-Video einen Film streamen und bekam die folgende Fehlermeldung:

"Dein Gerät ist über einen VPN- oder Proxydienst mit dem Internet verbunden. Bitte deaktiviere ihn und versuche es erneut."

Ich habe daraufhin versucht,das VPN zu deaktivieren, aber esist mir nichtgelungen.

Kann mir da jemand von Euch helfen?

Hallo @springwolf,

In der Taskleiste sollte ein Symbol angezeigt werden, das anzeigt dass das VPN verbunden ist.

Um das VPN zu deaktivieren, öffnen Sie einfach die VPN-App und klicken Sie auf das Pausezeichen, um die Verbindung zu trennen:

vielen Dank für Deinen Hinweis. Aber das habe ich mehrfach versucht und immer schaltet sich das VPN nach ein paar Sekunden wieder scharf. Wie kann man das verhindern?

Amazon Prime and Netflix are two of the most popular streaming services in the world, but they both have measures in place to prevent users from accessing their content from outside of their designated regions. This is known as geo-blocking.

Geo-blocking is used by streaming services to comply with copyright laws and licensing agreements. For example, a movie might be licensed to Netflix for streaming in the United States, but not in Canada. By blocking users from other regions, streaming services can prevent people from watching content that they are not legally allowed to watch.

VPNs can be used to bypass geo-blocking by masking your IP address and making it appear as if you are connecting from a different location. However, streaming services are aware of this trick and have started to block VPNs as well.

There are a few reasons why Amazon Prime and Netflix might not work on a VPN.

1) The VPN you are using might not be able to unblock Amazon Prime or Netflix. Not all VPNs are created equal, and some are better at unblocking streaming services than others.

2) The VPN you are using might be blocked by Amazon Prime or Netflix. Streaming services are constantly updating their block lists to keep out VPNs. If you are using a VPN that has been blocked, you will not be able to access Amazon Prime or Netflix.

3) The VPN you are using might not be fast enough. Streaming video requires a lot of bandwidth, and if your VPN is not fast enough, you will experience buffering or other problems.

Good and insightful post @Flexx but I think the user is encountering difficulties disabling the VPN 🙂

@springwolf check the autoconnect settings:

The VPN may connect automatically according to these settings, so you can toggle off the switches for Windows startup connection, apps and domains and website categories then try again to access the desired website.
