I have the same issue - Every startup it switches the Auto-Pilot off, and alerts me my "device" is not protected. It took me some time to figure out my "device" is no-protected just because the auto-pilot is off ... but I can't figure out why it's being reset every single reboot.

Yeah, so I get there is a link between the "your device is protected" and the Autopilot function He has disabled auto-pilot again, by the way. But, there's no link between the "your device is protected" and the up to date/update now-function, although written very closely to each other.
