After installing Bitdefender...when running SPEEDTEST results changed

In running speedtest on the network my results used to be 12ms Ping, 946 Download and 45 Upload, after installing Bitdefender my results are as follows 12ms ping, 942 Download and 35544.66 Upload. notice change in Upload speed which is impossible.

Anyone have any idea what could be the cause ?

I get the same thing on my end. My Upload goes anywhere between 12,000 to 9,000 and settles at 7.5 (normal is 12). Otherwise, your Ping and Download speeds look good, very nice. The Upload just appears to be a glitch, in which the above articles will not be able to resolve.

I think it is to be expected that there will be a certain impact on upload, since Bitdefender is filtering the traffic. It looks within normal limits to me. Also 12ms ping, 942 Download is very good, almost no impact there.

Great, thank you for the reply, Alex, as I didn't realize BD may be filtering the traffic. I also noticed a difference from the speedtest desktop app, compared to the online version, which showed lower upload numbers.
