Remotely lock a laptop stolen by an employee

Hi

We have Bitdefender business security and one of the laptops got stolen by an employee.

Seems like Gravity Zone Business Security doesn't include remote wipe. Is it possible to purchase encryption and push it remotely using the agent to the stolen machine and somehow lock the device?

Hello @Victor17 ,

With the Full Disk Encryption addon you can prevent the user from accessing the endpoint but there are some conditions that needs to be met. I cannot guarantee that in this case you will be able to lock the user if you buy the addon as the recommendation is to have it deployed before these incidents.

However, if you try to apply the encryption now you need to ensure that:

• Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is active
• The Device needs to have already a user/password
• The device needs to have the Bitdefender agent installed in order for the policy to apply
