Pay for additional services

Couldn't find any Category for my question so picked this one

Hello guys, Per PC Net suggestion paid for Bitdefernder Antivirus Plus for 3 devices Laptop/Android/Smart TV. While installing on Android, asking to install additional product for more money.

Can someone tell me that I got sucked into a common Scam, buy some… will have to buy more/keep on buying?

I assume 30 day money back guarantee will help me get my money back if have to pay more. Thanks

Just a little misunderstanding on what Antivirus Plus (as well as Internet Security and the free version) is compatible with, which is only Windows. At the top of the Bitdefender website shows this information.

You can install Bitdefender Total Security on Windows, Android, Mac and iOS, but it is not compatible with a Smart TV.

If you bought your subscription from the Bitdefender website, you can request a refund from the link below. Otherwise, you will need to get in touch with vendor who you purchased it from.

To add here, you could also contact Bitdefender Support and instead of a refund, you can ask them to upgrade your Antivirus Plus subscription to Total Security free of charge, so you won't have to make a new purchase.
They may have to adjust the validity however, since you are upgrading to a superior product.
