Uncorrected Distorting in Apps
I thought I had this corrected with updating the driver and setting the text size to 200%. It was working great for days. Several days of all is well. A number of shut downs and restarts over days when I go to bed. Shut down the machine last night when all was working good. Restarted this morning to find that when I now use the two apps, they are distorted again. Plus another app is back to the drawing lines when I slide a window across the screen. Samples attached.
Could this be as simple as replacing the video card? Any good suggestions for a new video card? Would the OS complain at seeing a new video card?
This is an older W7Pro64 desktop that works very well 99.9% of the time. Dell Precision T1700, 16Gb ram, Quadro K620 2Gb Vram. Up to date driver.
I've tried working with support over another pair of issues and tried closing modules one by one. Bit Defender is causing the PC to require 5-7 minutes to boot whereas with Kaspersky used for ~15 years boots in 30 seconds. So I uninstalled Bit Defender and now any time I shut down and then start again, all the apps have no video corruption.
I've been using Bit Defender for
30 days. Is there any option to get a full refund and use something else that does not cause so many issues?
