Can't contact Bitdefender server - Unable to connect to the server

Downloaded Bitdefender yesterday as replacement for Kaspersky. Unable now to connect to server. I use Firefox browser. My wife is on same home network and can connect. She has not yet downloaded Bitdefender. Can you advise?

    Typically, this error means that a firewall, DNS, or content filtering system on your network or computer prevents communication with the Bitdefender servers and blocks the activation process.
