file shredder

just installed windows 11 24H2 on 2024-10-20

right clicking on a file, select bitdefender\file shredder

the window bitdefender file shredder won't appear

if file shredder is selected main page everything works

This most likely has to do with the context menu on Windows 11.

Once you revert to the Legacy Context menu, the File Shredder should become available again.

I did like in the thread… doing so, gives the same menu that appears clicking "show more options"

in terminal I wrote :

reg.exe add "HKCU\Software\Classes\CLSID\{86ca1aa0-34aa-4e8b-a509-50c905bae2a2}\InprocServer32" /f /ve

after a restart of windows 11 it gives the menu that appears when I click "show more options"

note : when it didn't work, clicking on "show more options" in the menu, it brings at the old menu without changing registry key, and it works
