Lost my access to all my 277 Login and Password saved in Password Manager
Hi all
I am very angry with Bit Defender,
i have activated secure Pass which was proposed and I am very angry, nothing in the installation has indicated that password manager is automatically deactivated and that i lost my 277 account information's, and mainly for the most important website i access by Bitdefender Safepay (bank, finance, internet store , government sites, etc…
in the setting of secure pass , i set usage of secure pass=OFF , close Bitdefender Safepay as requested and restarted to validate the change, but noway , option is automatically set to usage = ON
How to recovery this critical situation, i hope that there is a solution, otherwise after 15 years of loyalty without any problem, I will leave BD at the end of my subscriptions

Hello Thierry,
I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you, but I think the data can be recovered. What you can do is to download the Password Manager browser extension (but you'll have to use another browser, in this case Chrome):
Then you can export and import the data in SecurePass. However, please be advised that if the password(s) saved in Password Manager do not have a title and you import them into SecurePass using the encrypted file, the title "Account" will appear on all passwords, and that will be inconvenient, but if the passwords already have a title, or if you export them unencrypted, then this may not happen.
Nevertheless, this scenario will be addressed in the upcoming update next week, so to be on the safe side, I would advise you to wait until the latest version is rolled out and then you can do an encrypted export without any problems, as it will import correctly.
If you don't feel comfortable doing this, I would recommend contacting the Support teams for guidance in the process. You can get in touch with them using the link below:State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.
I hope this helps.
