Has anyone been successful as configuring bitdefender firewall to enable one to connect to their PC over tailscale? Any guidance or step by step instructions would be a huge help. Thanks

Does the app work with the firewall disabled? If it does and you are using a dedicated VPN software, try to add an exception by following the steps from this article:

if i disable the firewall and drop the wifi (as if I'm connecting from the outside/public internet) it does work. What I am trying to configure to pass through the firewall is tailscale. Tailscale used to work without any changes to the firewall rules but that has since change, I will read this link and give it another try.
