PDF shows black screen

Since I installed Bitdefender the system the system behaviour for PDF has changed. When I open a PDF (even the Bitdefender manual) I get black the PDF shown as black only. If I print the same the preview shows me the PDF correctly.

Anyone experienced the same and has a solution proposal ?

    Try to whitelist the PDF viewer first. Open Bitdefender, navigate to Protection → Advanced Threat Defense and add your PDF viewer to the exceptions list. Also, open Notifications in Bitdefender and check if there are any logs indicating blocked or flagged actions related to your PDF viewer or the PDFs themselves.

    Another thing to try would be to disable 'hardware acceleration' in your PDF viewer, this option should be available somewhere in the edit settings, preferences or page display (or similar settings), depending on the PDF viewer you are using. There, uncheck any option to use hardware acceleration for rendering (or similar). Restart the application and test again.

    Thanks very much for your feedback. I changed Firefox to use Acrobat Reader instead of Standard Firefox setting. This works……….
