Download attachments from emails, click on links without error messages

Hello,

I recently downloaded Bitdefender Total Security and have had nothing but problems.

1. I can't download attachments from emails - I do this quite often. Is there a way for them to be scanned and then downloaded? I have a lot of people emailing me with attachments that are safe. A "friends list" of safe contacts isn't going to work for me.
2. I often click links on websites - consistently I get error messages when I know for a fact there's nothing wrong with these websites. It's not always the same website. What do I have to change in the settings to allow this? I know there will be risk, but I don't want to have to completely turn off my antivirus to do this, which is what I have to do!
3. Links from emails - I can't go into that I know are legit and not tracking. What feature do I turn off? I screen my emails well. I know there is still risks.
