Windows firewall or Bitdefender firewall?
Are there enhanced benefits for Bitdefender firewall to be on and Windows firewall to be off or is there any reason why Windows firewall cannot be the default, allowing Bitdefender to function or vice versa? Is it redundant to have both in operation?

Hello,
I think for users seeking a straightforward, cost-effective firewall with basic protection and integration into the Windows environment, Windows Firewall is a suitable and decent choice.
However, for those desiring advanced security features, enhanced user control, and a more intuitive interface, Bitdefender Firewall stands out as a more robust option, in my opinion. The Bitdefender Firewall offers features like network threat prevention, which can detect and block sophisticated attacks, including brute force attempts and botnet attacks. It also includes an Alert Mode, which monitors suspicious behavior across applications, and displays alerts each time an app tries to connect to the internet, and also Stealth Mode, which establishes whether you can be detected by other devices. You can click the “Edit stealth settings” to choose when your device should or should not be visible to other computers. For a detailed overview on the Bitdefender Firewall and its features and functionality, you can visit this article, it may help when comparing the two:I hope the information is useful.
