Joining from Norton, might go back. Help

Hello. I've been a user of norton for several years, but the amount of rebranding and how they have changed their support has turned me away.

I subscribed to bitdefender on the 1st after doing some research and deciding that this is the right product for me. I need to protect a few devices, as well as optionally have parental controls on an android device. I submitted a support ticket for three issues, but the technicians that reply back are clearly not reading the ticket before replying.

Ticket #1009908286

  • I mistakenly subscribed to a plan that doesn't have parental controls, and had requested to change my subscription. I provided the requested details, but haven't heard back

  • I have several false positives that have been flagged, and will be flagged if I do a full scan. However, I do not want bitdefender to delete or automatically quarantine anything without telling me. This was a function of norton - it detected threats, and it asked me what I wanted to do with them. If the only way to use bitdefender would be to manually exclude several hundreds, or thousands of files (I don't know, I ended the full scan when I noticed dozens of false positives), then this app will not work for me.
    • The reply back I receive on how to configure this, I do NOT have those options in 'total security'
    • I was advised to go to protection > antivirus > manage scans, actions section, Set the action for detected threats to Take no action or Notify only.
    • This option does not exist. Under manage scans, I can edit. There is nothing along the lines of actions. If I check settings under antivirus, or advanced, there is nothing to tell it to notify me. Under advanced, at the bottom, there are threat actions, but the only options there are 'take proper actions,' quarantine, or deny access

  • Something added browser integrations in firefox no longer allows me to have a download ETA. I asked how I can remove browser integrations.
    • The steps that I was advised to take were, protection >online threat protection > 'locate web protection or scan ssl option' and disable it.
      • There isn't anything called that in this menu. And why is it an 'OR' option? Does the technician not know?

Any advise would be appreciated.
