Hello @LenC
Are you talking about on your Windows desktop, an app popup, or on a website? Maybe one of the Mods here can bump you up to level 2 to so you can post an image.

I think there's insufficient information for anyone to be able to provide any useful advice here..
The context is always mandatory, when exactly did you receive this message and from whom, what is the sender email address (if any) did the message arrive after subscribing to something, after installing a browser extension or any other tool, after installing Bitdefender, after visiting a website, after clicking on a link? Furthermore, how does the full notification look like and what info is required from you? This can also provide more clues.
Please always include a full description of what is happening, all the known facts and source of the messages you receive, otherwise we are playing a guessing game and we can't be of much help.
Thanks

Thanks,
The above appeared only after installing the Firefox Browser. No indication as to Sender. Do not recollect clicking on a link. After deleting re- appears at random. Firefox only. I uninstalled Firefox and, as yet, it has not appeared elsewhere.

@LenC thanks for providing a screenshot. Yes, that's a legitimate message from SecurePass, Bitdefender's latest password manager, but I'm unsure how you got there if you weren't actually trying to install it..
This is the one:
