the Weather Channel
The map part of the weather channel web app has stopped working since I installed Bitdefender on my windows 10 PC. Using Google Chrome as browser. I've talked with the weather channel people and they say this has been reported by other weather channel / bitdefender users.
Is there a solution??

Hello.
My specs:
OS Windows 10 Pro 22H2 x64 With Latest Windows Updates Installed
OS Build 19045.5487
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19061.1000.0
BD Total Security 27.0.47.239
Google Chrome 133.0.6943.127 x64
As you can see from the screenshot, the map/radar (Радар in my language) part of the website works fine for me.
The Bitdefender Anti-Tracker extension could be the culprit.
Follow the steps from this article:
NOTE: In my case, the Bitdefender Anti-Tracker extension is NOT installed.
Regards.

Hi @larryh
I agree with @Gjoksi that in general if there is a webpage issue, Bitdefender Anti-Tracker can be an issue. I just checked on my end, Windows 10, Chrome and Bitdefender are all up to date, with Anti-Tracker enabled and have no problem with the site.
But with Brave, and no Anti-Tracker, and having disabled Brave Shield, it isn't working. I'd have to play around with what may be causing it.
If needed, try disabling Anti-Tracker and if that resolves it, then add the site into the Whitelist as @Gjoksi mentioned above. Otherwise, try disabling any additional extensions you may have until you find what may be causing the issue.

Web browser used: Google Chrome
Well, I guess the user's issue may be genuine. I’m also unable to open the map section on https://weather.com/ while only having the Bitdefender Anti-tracker web browser extension enabled. Below is an image of the same.
Even after disabling the Bitdefender Anti-tracker web browser extension, the issue persists. Below is an image of the same.
What’s weird is that we're all having different scenarios for the same thing 😂

Thanks for the responses
I had tried disabling ant-tracker from the bitdefender dashboard and it worked the first time. When I tried it several days later it did not work. I followed Gjoksi's recommendation (step 1) to disable anti-tracker in chrome and that seems to work. But I get ads. As time permits, I'll try step 2.
Thanks again for the info.

On Chrome, try uBlock Lite, and disable Anti-Tracker and see what happens. It's Gjoksi's and my favorite (as a standalone ad blocker).
