My computer is extreemly slow on occasions, I suspect its the Bitdefender that is causing this.

I made a complaint to my bank as my banking app is unusable sometimes, they mentioned that they have no issues on their side. I must look at my Bitdefender settings. I am to scared to change anything, with all the security issues around.

I think the situation is a bit vague. What does "unusable sometimes" mean? Does it crash suddenly, does it take longer to launch since you installed Bitdefender, does it show any error messages, anything that could indicate where the problem is? How did you came to the conclusion that Bitdefender is interfering with the banking app?
Are there any other apps or websites that exhibit a similar behavior and since when did this start, since you installed Bitdefender on your PC, since installing another software or making any adjustments to your system, a recent update maybe, anything else you can think of? Also, are you using a VPN connection or any ad-blockers or anti-tracker extensions?

My point is, we won't be able to figure out what's going on there just from reading the two lines you wrote above. There could be multiple reasons behind this, including possible issues with the actual banking app, which maybe they could not acknowledge or identify. More details are needed, so we know where to look, otherwise we're searching for a needle in a haystack, if you know what I mean..
