Change RDP port
I like using the Windows RDP client but get attacked constantly when using the default port. I’ve made several failed attempts at opening another port.
Please explain the settings I need to open a different port (TCP/UDP) for RDP using 3390 as an example.
Thanks

Hello @Dbill53,
What Bitdefender product are you using? Is it a consumer product, or a business solution?
Thanks

Hi.
I guess the OP uses a Bitdefender business/enterprise solution and this thread should be moved to the "Enterprise Security" category.
Cheerss.

Unsure yet, I asked Andrei as well, since I also think this involves a business product.

I’m using the personal not a business version. Finding and/or creating rules is not very straightforward or intuitive.
I can screenshot the rule settings that don’t work. The windows RDP default is allowed but any change to a different port fails.
Sadly attacks happen constantly with the default port. If I can’t find a way to allow a different port I will change to another vendor. I have experienced other hookey stuff with Bitdefender like having to uninstall/reinstall on iPad because it decides to block internet even when Kill is disabled.
