Bitdefender VPN and Web Protection (Traffic Light extension)

I have just installed Bitdefender VPN on my Apple mobile devices and found that I can't have Web Protection and VPN on at the same time. I am in the process of now installing Bitdefender VPN on my Mac Air and wondered if the same conflict applies with the Traffic Light extension for Safari?

Any advice welcomed. Gareth
