Does Bitdefender work with Hotstar Indonesia with the Indonesia server?

Almost all VPNs except one so far say VPN detected. The other vpn that I got to work is just super slow. Can Bitdefender work with this?

Hello,

By the looks of it, that website is detecting and blocking a VPN connection. I have also tried accessing the page using two different VPNs, Bitdefender included, and could not view the content there. Try the steps from this article and see if they make any difference:

As @Alexandru_BD said, to bypass this restriction when using Bitdefender VPN, you can enable the Split Tunneling feature. This feature allows you to exclude Hotstar from the VPN connection, ensuring that it uses your ISP-provided IP address instead. As a result, you can access Hotstar without detection issues while still using the VPN for other purposes.

It's worth noting that Hotstar has undergone significant changes in recent years. In 2019, Hotstar partnered with Disney and was rebranded as Disney+ Hotstar. Despite the merger between Reliance Industries and Walt Disney in November 2024, the platform continues to operate under the Disney+ Hotstar brand and has not been rebranded as Jio Hotstar.
