Fortinet removal

Hello, I never heard of fortinet until now. It has started to stop me going to websites that are incredibly important for my work. Government websites. I dont know how to get rid of it. I tried the FCremoval.exe and it did nothing. Its very frustrating and I dont know it got on my computer or how to get it off. Any help please!!

Removing Fortinet products depends on which Fortinet software is installed on your device. I think the best way to do it would be to get in touch with one of their Support representatives, in the event you encounter difficulties when trying to uninstall it. Searching online, I was able to find a contact link here:

Normally, you should be able to uninstall it like any other program on Windows, by following these steps:

Open Control Panel → Press Win + R, type appwiz.cpl, and hit Enter.
Locate FortiClient / FortiGate / Fortinet Security in the list of installed programs.
Right-click on the application and select Uninstall.
Follow the on-screen instructions to remove the software.
Restart your computer.

Just make sure you are using an admin account.
