Why does manual VPN connection not work after hibernation/sleep? Win 11

I understand about the VPN not restarting automatically after hibernation or sleep. Mine flat out won't reconnect under any circumstances after hibernation or sleep. I have to restart the laptop every single time.

I just ran the update option which is says updates applied. The "about" option says I've got 27.0.49.249 with last update noted as 3/15/25 at 9:40pm. That's 3 days ago.

What an I missing?

That would be a previous build for the antivirus and not the VPN:

So, the latest Bitdefender version is 27.0.49.250. The latest VPN version on Windows is 27.2.3.7.

The updates are rolling out gradually to all customers, and your PC may not have the live build just yet. Once the staged rollout update reaches 100%, it is automatically downloaded and installed.
