AUTO-RENEW is now set at 59.99 higher price... discount has been disppeared without notice

[and I'm forced to ask on here because the email support is bad… 4 attempts to send the complaint… including the Catpcha routine, and it just hangs.]

Hi Bitdefender Support,

I am feeling concerned about this auto renewal of 25.03.2025.

Previously, I was getting a significant discount on Total Security Individual, around $59.99 per annum.

You now want to Auto-charge me $149.99. Looks like the discount has been removed from the renewal this time. Without any notice.

And when I examine the intended charge for Total Security, it is the same price as Premium Security, so it looks like I’m being overcharged there too.

I’m not going to buy anything from you if I cannot trust you on pricing.

Please can you explain this and rectify?

    scroll down, and check part "Here is what the Bitdefender Auto Renewal Plan means for you".

    It says:

    "The price offered is valid for the first year of subscription. After that, your subscription will be billed at the applicable renewal price which may be higher than the initial purchase price;

    If a discount is presented, it describes the difference between the first term and renewal term subscription prices (e.g., first year price vs. each year thereafter). The prices are subject to change, but Bitdefender will send a prior notification by email, before the automatic renewal takes place. You will receive an email notification before you will be billed, along with information regarding pricing and the extension of your subscription duration."

    First, ask for a refund for the billed auto renewal:

    Next, turn off auto-renewal, by following the steps from this article:

    Finally, you can now renew your subscription, by visiting this website address:
