At this time, yes, there is no customization for print. It is on my list of implementations, although I cannot say exactly when it will be done.

Anytime. At this time I have two options: enable the default print preview (which introduces in itself a large, complex change) or gradually adding certain options (page set - which you asked for, print background images, and adding more and more as suitable). I'm working on the latter as we speak and we'll decide depending on how it goes.
