I have the Box and BD Total. My son added the VPN upgrade, I just activated it in BD Central. Can all of my PCs now use the VPN upgrade or is it necessary to get a subscription for every PC?

If you bought the bitdefender VPN premium then it's for all of your devices that you've added to your account.
Yes, @Petersl is right. One thing to keep in mind though, the VPN can be used on maximum 10 devices simultaneously.
