Auto Renew Utter Mess!
Today 12.14 GMT my "current" sub" does not officially end until 29th April. But I got auto renewed. I would swear I went through the process to end auto. But been getting the annual email bombardment ( seems like forever) but was waiting as I was in the process of replacing upgrading lots of the tech I have covered ( PC's laptops Tablets Phones etc . Because it would make sense to know what I needed and for how many etc . NOWHERE in any of the bombardment was there a mention of "auto-renewal was in place and would trigger 14 days prior to your "sub" ending. If it had I would have not gone on a holiday for 8 days without setting stuff up to avoid:- 1 The BIGGER cost and :- 2 the grief .
But today I got hit for a bill some 40% higher than all the other "offers " being shoved into my inbox. I have been with Bitdefender since 2021, and am a tad furious at this clumsy inept and quite frankly amateurish "business process".
Now I have registered a complaint tried a chat with the AI and I am promised contact by email to resolve my issues. We shall see but what I did do now I have paid for another year, was cancel the auto renew.
The prize for the worst customer-process of the year is duly awarded to Bitdefender.
It's like a non scam(?) parading as a scam to totally hack of loyal customers. Get a Grip !!!!
ps. cancelled the auto for next year but boy do you have to scan the web page closely ,as every line to terrify you is BOLD and Strong. In fact I am still terrified I missed something. Customer friendly,?, I think not. tommyc

Sorry to hear that. In the event the automatic renewal was applied, the charge will be for the current list price of the product, excluding any promotional and discount pricing available at the official website, or any other points of sale. If you are dissatisfied because of the renewal price, you can always request a refund by contacting the Support teams within 30 days of the purchase/renewal date. Usually, early renewal offers are also being sent closely to the renewal date, however, in this case I'm not sure exactly what happened and why your subscription was renewed earlier than planned. But the Support teams will be able to clarify this, and you can get in touch with them using the link below:
State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.
