How do I temporarily switch Bitdefender off, to allow my computor Bios and drivers to update ?

Thank you. I followed the instructions and disabled Bitdefender. Unfortunately, this did not solve my problem - I am trying to get my Lenovo updates to install. I switched Windows Defender as well.
