COM AddIn in Word

I have a COM AddIn in Word that automatically updates itself by generating a batch file and spawning a process to run that batch file with the Windows shell to update the COM AddIn when Word is closed. BitDefender blocks this. How can I tell BitDefender that this is expected behavior and allow it?

I suspect the Advanced Threat Defense security module has something to do with this. You could try to add an exception for the program you are using:

It's a bit of trial and error in this case, to find out what component of Bitdefender is blocking those processes.
