Help with Gmail account
Hello,
I am subscribed to Bitdefender Total Security.
I have a Mac and use Outlook for Mac. I had to close down Outlook a few days ago, and Bitdefender asked for permission to run about 3 processes when I was exiting Outlook, which it had never asked me before. I might have said no to one of them.
Since then, I have been unable to send or receive emails in one of my Gmail accounts through Outlook. In my outlook, I have two exchange accounts that work fine, and five other Gmail accounts that work fine. Only one particular email address does not work, it will not sync with send and receives. I have spoken to Outlook support. I have deleted and restored the Gmail account twice. When I research the issue, it tells me to look in settings, protections, and then spam - but I cannot find this module. I also cannot find any log of things or processes that are blocked by Bitdefender in the interface or on Central.
I would kindly appreciate any help!!! Thank you!
Barry

Hello @BarryProducer,
I don't quite recognize the behavior, but I think a fresh reinstall of Bitdefender should normally ask for those permissions again. Try reinstalling the software, go through all the required permissions and let us know if the issue persists afterwards.

Hello.
Open your Google Account, on the left side select "Security", scroll down, and under "Your connections to third-party apps & services", click on "Bitdefender".
Under "Bitdefender has some access to your Google Account" click on "See details".
The setting should look like this:
As @Alexandru_BD already mentioned, a fresh reinstall of Bitdefender should solve the issue.
Regards.

Hi!
I completely uninstalled Bitdefender, I used the unistall tool in the folder. I downloaded it and rrinstalled, but did not ask for permissions for anything aside from giving it permission in my mac setup. Same thing, that one email address will not work. How can I check to see if it is blocked, in my Bitdefender app and on Bitdefender central, I see no options to check blocked processes, email address, etc. Thank you

@BarryProducer if nothing here helps, I think this becomes a task for the Support teams. You can get in touch with them for a more in-depth investigation to find out what's going on there, since it seems that we've exhausted all the known troubleshooting steps here. Use this link to choose between the available contact channels:
Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.
