I had a new computer built in my old case, updating to Windows 11, but I forgot to reinstall BitDefender.
A couple months afterward, something has infected Google Chrome and keeps giving me virus messages in popups stacked on the right side of my screen—-which obscures some of my access to Chrome. They pretend to be from "Windows Web Advisor" Sometimes additional popups in the center of my screen will claim to be from Norton or McAfee.
I installed BitDefender and ran a complete scan. It found a few issues but didn't resolve this one. The only way I can get rid of it is to remove Chrome, but after I reinstalled Chrome the noxious popups came back.
Any help on how to clean this up would be appreciated. Screen shot attached
