Hello, I have a Netgear Armor subscription. Armor is installed on my Mac and has been for around 8 months or so. I get definition updates, but the application version has not changed.

I can’t find any clear answers regarding what the current version of Armor for Mac OS is and want to see if mine isn’t updating for some reason since the Bitdefender branded product is a newer release

Does anyone know?

The version installed is 10.0.0.5. If I check for updated manually, there are none. If I download and run the installer it runs and completes successfully rather quickly. The version remains at 10.0.0.5.

Release notes indicate that Bitdefender for Mac is further along. I realize that they are technically different, but it feels like an awful long time to not update security software.

As far as I know, that's the latest version. But you do get the definitions updates, and I think that's what matters most.. And yes, Antivirus for Mac comes with a separate update process, it frequently updates its signatures multiple times within a day, however, when it comes to product updates that involve changing the version number, they occur less frequently as well.
