Bitdefender Agent asked me to enter password, then 2FA Code and then password again. It wouldn't accept the password the second time. Is this a different password to the first password?

Are you asking about SecurePass? Please keep in mind that your Bitdefender account password and the master password set on your SecurePass account are different. The first time you access SecurePass, you will be prompted to set up a master password that is at least 10 characters long and a combination of lower&upper case characters/digits/special characters.

Hi, Thanks for promotion to Level 2. I just made some privacy permission changes on my settings and it seems to have sorted out the problem. FYI the photo shows where i was coming unstuck in the process. My usual password wasn't accepted at this point. After I gave 'all disc access' it didn't ask me for it again. Thanks

Yes indeed, this has to do with the permissions and allowing full disk access for Bitdefender to work properly on macOS.
