Audio Protection Bugged?

I am currently on Build 27.0.51.260 and I've noticed that If I start my computer without my usb mic(Logitech Blue Yeti) plugged in the whenever I open an app that uses the microphone I don't get a notification. I fresh installed windows and the issue persists. Also now it shows an option to 'Fix' Video & Audio Protection but the button doesn't do anything.

Is this a known issue? If I start my PC with my microphone plugged in there is no issue. It's only when I have to plug it in after startup. Not sure what's going on here.

Update I closed the UI and reopened it from the tray and the Video and Audio Protection is fixed, but still no notifications…

Also when I do boot with my mic plugged in some apps and games report the microphone being used more than once. For example the sound settings window

2 Notifications. I'm gonna start pulling my hair out. I don't know if its BD or my PC or malware. I've scanned and found nothing, recovery environment, fresh install. I feel like I'm going crazy.

Maybe the service that runs that module didn't start correctly, or didn't start at all. If the fresh reinstall didn't solve the issue, head to the link below to get in touch with Bitdefender Support for further assitance:

State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.

Most likely this has to do with either the module or the audio setup you have there. But without knowing exactly what's what, it's difficult to say where the issue lies.
