Restricted from website due to VPN

I am using the VPN. I have entered an exception for a specific website, yet it is still rejecting me because I am accessing from a VPN. The site only accepts connections from the USA and rejects VPN connections because they can't verify that the access is from the USA. I think that my VPN location is from the USA (New England). Are there other things that I can try?

Thank you for the suggestions, which I will try. However, I assume that when an website or app exception is entered, that BD would allow the transaction to bypass the VPN entirely, so there wouldn't be any way for the site to detect a VPN, because there isn't one.

Correct, if you use the Split-tunneling feature, this will route traffic outside the VPN tunnel.

On some website i get all kind of message access denied,wrong ip addressi order vpn from bitdefender i'm 85 year old no nothina about computer ,they have tried to help me install and get it up i just can't do it so thing i need to do on computer i can not is ther a company that i need to get help from .

So, from what I understand, some websites are blocked since you've started to use the VPN? You said "they have tried to help me" — who exactly? Did you contact Bitdefender Support regarding this?
