Dear Bitdefender Team,
Today I completed the purchase of one of your products via your official store (store.bitdefender.com). Moments after confirming the order, your own antivirus — installed and fully operational on my system — promptly flagged part of your checkout process as a web threat.
Specifically, the URL reported was:
https://www.bpttn8trk.com/sdk/conversion?...
I’ve attached a screenshot for your internal review.
I assume this is a false positive triggered by some third-party tracking or analytics service, but still — it's quite the paradox to see Bitdefender protecting me from… Bitdefender.
While I do appreciate the enthusiasm with which your product handles threats, you might want to have your teams talk to each other before your software goes full point a finger at each other on your own infrastructure.
