Why does Bitdefender slow down my Windows PC after startup?

I'm using Bitdefender on Windows 10/11 and have noticed that my PC becomes noticeably slow for a few minutes right after startup. Is this normal behavior? Are there any recommended settings or exclusions to improve system performance without compromising protection?

Try disabling the Early boot scan:

NOTE: Early boot scan option scans your system at startup as soon as all its critical services are loaded. The mission of this feature is to improve threat detection at system startup and the boot time of your system. It's disabling a security feature, so you are doing it at your own risk.
