Why does SecurePass issue a new recovery code?

I recently forgot my Master Password and had to use my Recovery Code to allow me to update the Master Password. The system issued me another Recovery Code. Has this replaced my original Recovery Code? If so does this mean I can discard the original Recovery Code?

Yes, a new recovery code is generated every time you reset your master password - you can discard the old one, it cannot be used again.
