Has anyone else went from version 27.0.51.260 to version 27.0.52.262 without having version 27.0.52.261 being done and wondering why it would not have installed as I understand it contained some major updates. Also VPN on Safepay has stopped connecting this seemed to have happen on the last window updates version 27.0.51.260 fixed this from the windows preview update, but on the last windows update it failed to connect again, version 27.0.52.262 fixed the issue for one sign on and now VPN does not connect again. Also keep getting the unlock your vault issue.

I did not changed anything in Safepay related to VPN between 260 and 262. Need more details about this.

Q: What does it mean "Also keep getting the unlock your vault issue" ?

The latest version always includes all previous fixes—that's how software updates work. It's normal to skip certain versions; there's no issue with that.
Please provide more details about the VPN issue in Safepay: What operating system are you using, and what exactly is the scenario?

Safepay issue started May 28/25 with windows preview update KB5058499 - red x bitdefender VPN not connected

version 27.0.51260 fixed issue until windows updates KB5063060 and KB890830 installed on Jun 11/25 at which time the issue started again

with version 27.0.52.262 on Jun 23/25 Safepay VPN turned on, used it, I then shut down my laptop , when I logged back into my laptop and went to Safepay VPN said not connected and has not worked since. Settings on Safepay are turned on and correct.

I use Windows 11 version 24H2, have Premium VPN version 27.2.3.8 which seems to work fine other than Safepay, Bitdefender regular updates seem to come in fine.

Unlock your vault (in a black box)appears when putting in a password for example on email when using Edge as my regular VPN seems to works on other bowers. appears every time and cannot get rid of it. Have secure password manager but not signed into it.

Let me check with the VPN team (and my own), this is a lot of avenues to investigate. Looks like you used it normally on 27.0.52.262, but after you shut down the laptop it did not. Do you remember if the shutdown was full, or it was just sleep, closing the laptop lid ?

(And by any chance, is there an open support ticket for these issues?)

no open ticket I had contacted support the day before version 27.0.51.260 installed, their answer was to uninstall and reinstall, but the version fixed the issue so I did not have to uninstall/reinstall

Yes Safepay used normally with version 27.0.52.262, shutdown was full

Thank you for the details. I already notified the test guys (I have tried myself to reproduce it, unsuccessfully) to install a previous version (251 or so), check if the problem arises, then update to 260 and check again, then to 262 etc. and see how this goes.

I see there is an update released yesterday Jun 26/25 27.0.53.265 which has updates to Safepay maybe this will fix my issue.

As I have not received the, 265, update how long should I wait for it. I am getting a little concerned about my security

There are no fixed timelines for when you will receive the latest product update. That being said, all Bitdefender products, regardless of version, offer the same level of protection. Product updates mainly include bug fixes and vulnerability patches, which are different from malware signature updates.

I received update 265, and this seems to have fixed the problem with VPN on Safepay. It has worked for 2 days now.
