BitDefender (BD) OFTEN marks files as Threats, then automatically moves them to quarantine.
- Do Not Move a file to quarantine without the users permission
Often after recovering a harmless file from quarantine, all permissions are revoked and the file cannot be moved or renamed - BD context menu should contain an option to Whitelist (ignore during scans) a selected / highlighted file, files, or entire folders.
- The Context Menu should Also contain an option to directly UPLOAD a file TO BitDefender to CONFIRM a threat is contained. I have had MANY files identified as a threat (XYZ-Generic.12345667 - or some such) but on subsequent more detailed review by BD, the file was reported Harmless.
