Remove Norton on new laptop?

I've bought a new laptop. How do you remove Norton. First, remove the app in windows? Or I have to download the remove Norton app? Or, I hope so, Bitdefender fix it when i instal the bitdefender app, bitdefender automatically remove Norton? I am happy with defender, and my subscrition is not at the end? …
