Samsung Smart blocks spam calls, but I don't see Bitdefender blocking?

Do I need to turn off Samsung Smart Phone somehow.

I was hoping to see Bitdefender out preforming Samsung.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10e, SM-G970F/DS .

I get at least two spam calls a day, I can't even answer my phone unless they are known. I see in BD it asks me to add a spam call to a list. Really? I should copy a phone number that Samsung caught and past it to the BD list? These phone numbers are never the same, prolly random numbers generated with software to see if anyone responds.

These spam calls are a total pain, pita, these days.

Bitdefender new Call Protection feature for Android has been introduced recently. I’m not sure how large its spam or fraud call database is, or whether it’s using any third-party partnerships.

Maybe @Alexandru_BD or @agozob can provide more insights. I’m particularly curious about its accuracy in detecting spam or fraud calls. Since it’s a new feature, it likely doesn’t yet have a large in-house database, so it might be relying on external sources or partnerships. Looking forward to hearing their thoughts.

Our app does offer a way of manually blocking callers, but that's just an extra layer of filtering over our cloud based detection.

Just to make things clear, you have the Bitdefender Call Blocking feature enabled and our app set as the "default caller ID & spam app", yet the Samsung Phone app still blocks spam callers for you? If that's the case (it's just an assumption but) it could be that the Phone app blocks the calls before Bitdefender even gets a chance to check them, and that would mean there's nothing we can do about it unfortunately.

If you'd be willing to share a couple of those phone numbers that you mentioned, I could check our systems and see what the situation is.

Also, as @Flexx stated above, Call Blocking is indeed a new feature. Regardless, it already is very capable of detecting call scams and you can rest assured that we're working hard on improving it even further. The more users adopt the feature, the more accurate it will get.

I sent a screenshot of a list of calls and turned off the Samsung call protect.
I don't understand why none of my responses are visable?

Where did you send this list of calls? I can see your comment here, so it was posted, but I don't see any call list.
Perhaps you tried to attach a screenshot?

Thank you, yes I sent three screenshots and it seemed like they were accepted. I even resized them in Paint. I try the phone list again. The other two were just show that I turned off the Samsung one and another showing no blocked calls for BD.
