I recently installed Bitdefender total security on my Windows 11 system, and although I'm happy with protection it offers, I've noticed a significant drop in my system's performance especially during startup and while launching applications. I’m facing slow boot time, apps taking longer to open, occasional system lags during updates or scans, high memory usage by Bitdefender processes (especially bdservicehost.exe).
