Sorry but this is a long story. Between 6 and 10 years ago, my son added me to his Bitdefender account. At that time I had a gmail account. Then for a year or two I opened my own, free account with the same email and five or six years ago, I opened [*email removed by @Flexx *] and deleted and closed my gmail account because of the invasion of privacy issues. Around the same time I purchased a Bitdefender subscription and for several YEARS I wrote emails, made phone calls probably a half a dozen times, begging the staff to eliminate the gmail account - its a closed account, I would and have not used it for years. Every once in a while, the gmail account is used to email me ( its forwarded to my Outlook) and I call again, the most recent FRUSTRATING event is today in July 2025. I have a new phone to protect so I requested a link to add the phone. The message said , sent by the old, hated, closed gmail account. Could you please make it easy for the staff to delete someon'es old email accounts and NEVER USE OR EVEN SEE AGAIN.
