How to determine source of a web infection attempt

I'm on a Windows 10 desktop. Yesterday, I began receiving notifications about an infected web source. It looks like it's related to a weather app but I haven't installed anything new. Any idea on how to find which app is causing this? BD blocks any attempt to go that site.

Hello,

This could be a browser hijacker or unwanted redirect. It usually has to do with adware or various browser extensions that were bundled with other software or that you have unknowingly installed. Here's a detailed article on how to get rid of them:

A browser reset and removing unwanted extensions should be enough to fix this.
