So, Bitdefender is telling me the verizon.com website my cell provider is a malicious website so I cannot sign on to it on edge or chrome. Am I missing a setting or is this a thing?
Hello. I promoted you to Level 2. You can now post screenshot(s) of the issue, so we can better understand it. Regards.
Hello,
Can you tell us which security module returns the detection/blocks the website? You can find this in the notifications tab. Also, are you using a VPN connection when this happens, or it's just the antivirus that's blocking the page?
Depending on the case, there are ways to fix this. If this is indeed an incorrect detection (false positive), it can be addressed by the Labs team, and there's also the option to add the respective website as an exception in the meantime (although this may or may not work depending on what Bitdefender detects there).
Regards
I have the VPN on my PC turned off at the moment. Sometimes it just sits there and does this in edge and chrome:
Sometimes it says it is malware.
